To apply a merge operations like Clip and Staple a FileCabinet structure contains a contentMergeOperation link which can be used to post an ContentMergeOperationInfo structure. It contains the identities of the documents that have to be merged to one document and the merge operation that have to be applied. The produced document is returned as result.
